Stella Says Hi!

Thought this was a cute picture - looks like she is waving! Stella actually gave me her first kiss today. I was burping her and she started rooting (looking to nurse with her mouth open like a baby bird). She rooted right across my face and gave me a wide open mouth kiss...funny and sweet!

Home Sweet Home

We were released early from the hospital yesterday. It was strange to be home after only a 48 hour stay!! We were there much longer with the girls, but apparently I was doing well enough to be discharged and the rooms were filling up (lots of babies to be born this weekend!). The girls thought there little sister was pretty cool. They both wanted to excessively rock the carseat and pat her "pretty hair". We've definitely had an increase in "testing" behavior - which I guess is normal for such a big change in their and our lives...we're all practicing our patience on limited amounts of sleep...dangerous combo! : )

And some sweet sleeping photos. So far - she just SLEEPS and SLEEPS. She only gets made when you change her diaper or dally on her feedings!

Stella Eden Green Has Arrived!

The medical staff's first comment upon seeing her was, "She's got bangs!" Stella is taking after her mother and sister, Jasmine with some thick dark locks!

So I was SO off on Stella's weight prediction. I thought for sure that she'd outweigh the twins since she had the womb all to herself & got an additional 2 weeks lodging. Nope! She weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. She may look like Jasmine, but we think she has some of Addie's fiesty nature. She was kicking and screaming for quite some time after entering the world.

We are all well - currently enjoying the peace and quiet of our hospital room...hoping to move to private room soon.
