And You Are Again...?

I have it upon Alex's report that the girls intentionally smiled at each other for the first time this morning! It has been fun to watch them notice each other. We have even had our first fight over a toy! They were both pulling and whining...a preview of things to come!

Sometimes I can't get them to go down for their naps, and sometimes I can't get them down for their naps quick enough. They both decided this afternoon that they would rather sleep on the activity mat then in their rooms!

We went for our four month check-up yesterday and got more shots - OUCH! They didn't seem too terribly affected after the initial pokes. Jasmine is over the 100th percentile for height and head circumference. She is now 15 lbs. 9 ounces. Addison isn't far behind with a height over the 100th percentile as well. She now weighs 14 lbs 9 ounces!

Miriam & Alex,

David & Kristine said you were resonding to their blog, so I looked up yours. Your girls are adorable. They do sound like a handful. I know how much work Rachael is and can just imagine doubling it. A friend of mine at work had his first children, twins, boy and girl, a year ago at age 50 and his wife was 45. They definitely had an intersting year, but they managed to survive relatively intact so things do improve.
We'd like to keep up with your family and would like to be included in your blog. Our E-mail address is carolabaker@gmail.com.
I retired in June as the school district offered a buyout that meant I would have worked for nothing this next year. John is retiring at the end of this month as the three year project he has been working on is done. He either had to move or retire. As we will have more time, we hope to get down to Missouri to see your Mom & Dad and then get a chance to see you and meet Alex and your daughters.
